Hello, and thanks for visiting!

A short introduction – I’m Greg, I’m from the UK. I left my home in Sheffield at the end of May 2022 and over the next 18 months I have the goal of cycling from Alberta, Canada down to the southern tip of Argentina. Though I’ve always travelled and always cycled, I’ve not done anything like this before. ‘Take it a day at a time’ seems to be the advice always shared for long trips. Definitely something to keep reminding myself.

Now, I am by no means a writer – writing and sharing like this publicly actually makes me really nervous – but I’m working on it and I’m hopeful that by posting here regularly I can keep everyone updated on my whereabouts, assure everyone that I am still safe and still cycling, and maybe even offer ideas to other cycling dreamers.
